After a super-intense June (which followed a super-intense year!), we decided to take a few weeks in July to recharge our batteries a little bit and to do some research. There's a few concepts I've been wanting to add to our Teach Like A Rock Star events and educator conference and convocation keynotes. And, I've really been wanting to take some time to look at the data and research that supports my latest brainstorms. I know it doesn't really sound all that exciting, but here's what's pretty nice: I recharged, relaxed, and researched in France!! A few days in Paris and a week in Provence - it was . . . well, AMAZING!! The pic was taken in Monet's garden. Very cool. Now, back to reality. Time to get back into it!! Headed to Kentucky tomorrow to speak to teachers at Thomas Jefferson Middle School and then back to Texas to speak at Barbers Hill ISD.
